This bungalow is part of the leisure park of Sunny Majer. It is situated in Stebnícka Huta which benefits from the natural beauty of the Lower Beskids. It is 18 km from the spa resort of Bardejov and only 6 km from the Polish seaside resort of Wysova. The spa resorts in this area indicate how beautiful and how healthy this part of Slovakia can be. The site houses four wooden bungalows each with a balcony from where you have a beautiful view of the valley. On the grounds you will also find a hotel, a restaurant with bar and a folk-style "shepherd's hut" (belongs to the restaurant) - even a petting zoo! You also have access to facilities such as an indoor riding school, a wellness center with a pool of 10 x 4 m, Finnish sauna, fitness, massage, and much more. The bungalows are simple and include a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and large bedroom. There is also a furnished terrace with grill. Cars can be parked on private property.

On the ground floor of the bungalow there is a living room with a sitting area, a sofa bed for one person, a TV (local channels) and a wood-burning stove. There is also a dining table with six chairs. The kitchen is open to the living room and is equipped with a fridge and kettle. Upon request, a 2-burner stove, microwave and coffeemaker can be added (please indicate at the time of reservation). There is a bathroom with a sink, bathtub and toilet. An open staircase leads to the first floor where you will find five single beds. Additional conveniences: in the holiday park there is a laundry which can be used for a fee. In the restaurant as well as the main building a laptop can be connected to the Internet via WiFi.

Sunny Majer has something for everyone: horseback riding in an arena or in the wild; cycling; swimming (use of the pool and gym is not free); enjoy the sauna or a massage at the wellness center; billiards; making crafts or just having fun in the crèche for the littlest ones. Even hunting trips can be organized. You can also walk to the castle of Zborov or the hill of Maguru; take cultural excursions to nearby Bardejov, with its spa pools, or cross the border into Poland to the spa resort of Wysova; enjoy lots of beautiful scenery; or simply stay at home and enjoy grilling under the awning. The Zborovburcht was once the trade route from Hungary to Poland. Unfortunately, in 1684 it was totally destroyed, but impressive ruins still stand. The historic town of Bardejov was a thriving trade center in the Middle Ages. Wars, disasters and epidemics eventually brought this booming town to an end. Today you can enjoy its numerous cultural monuments, gates, beautiful town square and town hall. The village is on the world heritage list of UNESCO. It also has a famous spa with eight sources – beneficial for problems of blood circulation and digestion. The Empress Sissi was once here. There are also several outdoor and indoor swimming pools and tennis courts. A stay at Stebnícka Huta is interesting and an active holiday is practically guaranteed!

To start with there are winter sports: 500 meters away there is the ski center of Stebnícka Huta which has two runs of between 100-900 meters, a ski lift and a cross-country trail. There are also restrooms and a snack bar. It is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. To reach this ski area by car, snow chains are necessary. At a distance of 14 km lies the ski center of Regetovka, with four slopes plus one especially for children. The slopes range from 400-600 meters. Here you will also find ski equipment maintenance and storage services, a snack bar and restrooms. The slopes are in use daily from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and there is night skiing from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. But aside from skiing, there is plenty to do in this area: horseback riding in an arena or in the countryside, swimming, enjoy the sauna or a massage at the wellness center, billiards, enjoy making crafts or just having fun in the crèche for the littlest ones. When the weather is good you can go hiking in the snow. An excursion to the historic town of Bardejov, with its numerous cultural monuments, gates, attractive town square and town hall, is certainly worthwhile. This historic town is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. It also has a famous spa with eight sources – beneficial for those with blood circulation or digestion problems. And finally, end your day with dinner at the Sunny Majer restaurant.
