Greenfield Resort is located in the smallest and most beautiful mountain range in the world: the High Tatras. The village of Veľký Slavkov lies at the foot of the popular Slavkovský Peak, just 2 km from the famous Aqua City of Poprad and 7 km from Starý Smokovec. Here you will find plenty of opportunity for rest and relaxation, although the site is designed for a wide range of sporting activities and active leisure and recreation. In the vicinity of the park there is a bus connection to the High Tatras and Poprad (approx. 100 m) and a train to Poprad, Starý Smokovec and Strbske Mountain Lake (approx. 500 m). The park has a playground with climbing frames and slides. For the kids, there is both an indoor and outdoor play area. There are also several benches situated around a campfire area and covered seating areas so you can just sit together and chat. The football field can be used for a fee. The park has a sheep farm that has been converted to a stylish restaurant (Slavkov Salas), which offers traditional European cuisine, Slovak cuisine and its own specialties. The unique atmosphere is due to the traditional Slovak room, the Hunting Room with a fireplace and the summer terrace. This bungalow has an area of 70 m2. On the ground floor you’ll find the living room which is furnished with 2 sofa beds (each suitable for 2 persons) plus a dining table with chairs and a satellite TV. The simple kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner electric stove, microwave, kettle and fridge. You can cook at home or eat out in the restaurant of the park. Finally, on the ground floor there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one furnished with a double bed, the other with four single beds. The bungalow is heated by electric wall radiators. Outside there is a patio with a grill. Ideal for 6, up to 10, persons.

The park is attractive because there are so many tourist activities in the area. Within a radius of 30 km you can enjoy cycling, swimming, horseback riding, museums, galleries, tennis, cinemas, ice skating, paragliding and more importantly, hiking along one of many trails, which are the main attraction of the High Tatras. Tips for trips: Nature trails in the surrounding woods, around the valley or mountain lakes, plus cultural and historic sites. Challenges are the hiking trails and mountain routes from the village of Starý Smokovec (7 km), the tourist center of Hrebienok (8 km), the village of Tatranská Lomnica (14 km), the Štrbské Mountain lake (18 km), or a trip by cable car to Lomnický peak at 2634 meters above sea level (with one of the most amazing views in the world!). Cycling is possible because the village is located on the local routes that lead to the High Tatras. The Golf Club of Lomnica is located just minutes from the complex and has an 18-hole golf course with one of the best views in the world. In Poprad (6 km), which calls itself Aquacity, there is a particularly well-equipped ecological aqua park. A city tour is quite worthwhile and this is also a wonderful place for shopping.

You will find the perfect conditions for skiing and cross-country skiing in precisely this area, at the foot of the High Tatras. Within a radius of less than 20 km there are 8 ski resorts. The nearest is 2 km away in the territory of Dolný Smokovec. Here you will find a slope of 400 meters (with 2 lifts) at an altitude of 847-924 meters. A day ticket costs € 10 (2008/2009). Ideal for beginners and families with children. There is also the possibility to enjoy cross-country skiing and snowboarding. Services: ski lessons, free parking and toilets. On a gentle slope by Starý Smokovec (7 km) lies the ski center of Hrebienok, spread over three locations. It has 6 runs, 3 lifts, a bobsled track, ski equipment rental, parking, a buffet and a restaurant. A 5-day ski pass in the high season costs € 90 for adults and € 72 for children. More ski resorts can be found in Tatranská Lomnica (14 km, 2 centers), Svit (15 km, 1 center) and Strbske Pleso (18 km). In the latter snow park you will find yourself immediately at an altitude of between 1376-1816 meters. A very complete center with eight runs (20 km long), modern ski lifts, night skiing, snow nightclub, ski-paragliding, snow tubing and a fun park with snow tubing, snow rafting, bungee running, bungee jumping and an area for free-riding. A 6-day ski pass costs € 114 for adults and € 79 for children. A number of neighboring tourist attractions help to increase the attractiveness of the place. You can also go skating or curling at the indoor ice stadium in Poprad (3 km). A day without skiing can be spent in Poprad (6 km) shopping or swimming in swimming pool of Aqua City. And of course after a wonderful busy day it is always enjoyable to come back to your accommodation and have a delicious meal in the restaurant of the park!
